WeddingFavorFORTE' COMMITTMENT TO ONLINE SECURITY

Protecting and preserving your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. We take all the necessary measures and precautions so that those who shop with us can remain confident that their information and privacy concerns are being handled with extreme care; we are firmlycommitted to privacy and security. This Privacy Policy describes how Wedding Favors ETC collects information from all end users of WeddingFavorFORTE's internet services (the "Services") — those who access some of our Services but do not make a purchase ("Visitors") as well as those who make a purchase ("Customers") — what we do with the information we collect, and the choices Visitors and Customers have concerning the collection and use of such information. WeddingFavorFORTE' requests that you read all items in this policy.  The bottom line remains that your information will never be divulged to any third party without your prior permission unless required by law or where required by our manufacturers in order to drop ship items you ordered from us directly to you; in all cases, only pertinent information (items ordered and shipping address information) is provided to our vendors; all other information is withheld. Physical, electronic and managerial procedures have been employed to safeguard the security and integrity of all personal information obtained through our website and any phone, email or facsimilie communications we recieve from our customers.  All WeddingFavorFORTE' personnel with access to personal information obtained on our website are also bound to adhere to this policy as part of their employment with WeddingFavorFORTE'. To protect the security of information supplied by customers applying for our customer log-in services (which are not required and strictly voluntary), customers are afforded the opportunity to user names and passwords to access their information.

WeddingFavorFORTE' collects personal information online, including names, postal and e-mail addresses, phone and facsimile numbers, billing information, and other information pertinent to obtaining payment for and completing the proper delivery of all items purchased by our customers through our website (www.weddingfavorforte.com). WeddingFavorFORTE' may also collect business information from sole proprietorships that apply for participation in any affiliate programs, some of which could constitute personal information, as well as personal information from individuals acting solely in their business capacity.

Unless you otherwise consent, we will use your personal information only for the purpose for which it is submitted, such as to reply to your emails, process billing for and shipment of any and all products ordered through our website; we may also use such information to provide operational notices, in company record-keeping and to conduct research on e-commerce trends to help us better serve our customers' wedding and party-related favor and gift needs.  At certain points where personal information is collected on our site, there may be a selection where you may indicate you would like to be on a mailing list to receive information about other WeddingFavorFORTE' products, programs, specials and services.  This election option only appears in places where the department collecting personal information maintains such lists. At any time you can add or remove your name from the WeddingFavorFORTE' mailing list by contacting us at customerservice@weddingfavorforte.com.

HOW WeddingFavorFORTE' MAY SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We never sell or rent your personal information.  WeddingFavorFORTE'  may also release personal information under the following circumstances:

           Where release is required by law (for example, a subpoena) or regulation or is requested by a           government agency

           Where release is required to fulfill shipment and delivery of any and all items your order from our website; in these cases, information is strictly limited to the recipient's name, shipping address, and contact phone number provided.  This information is essential for our shipping companies (UPS and the USPS) to complete the delivery of your items and have a contact number in the event initial delivery is unsuccessful. 

DATA SECURITY

Any personal information provided to us—including shipping and credit card information—is secured using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. We use this SSL technology to prevent such information from being intercepted and read as it is transmitted over the Internet. The encrypted data goes to a secure site where your information is stored on restricted-access computers located at restricted-access sites. While we make every effort to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party "hackers" from illegally obtaining this information.  To verify our secure server operations that we use for our checkout process, please look for the "https:" designation in the address of our checkout processing.  If you do not see this designation, please delay placing your order and contact us immediately so that we may remedy the problem prior to your placing and order; this will allow us to ensure the safety and security of the information you provide to us during the checkout process.

RESPONSES TO EMAIL INQUIRIES

When Visitors or Customers send email inquiries to WeddingFavorFORTE' , the return email address is used to answer the email inquiry we receive.  WeddingFavorFORTE' does not use the return email address for any other purpose and does not share the return email address with any third party.

"COOKIES" AND HOW WeddingFavorFORTE'  USES THEM

A "cookie" is a small data file that can be placed on your hard drive when you visit certain Web sites. WeddingFavorFORTE'  may use cookies to collect, store, and sometimes track information for statistical purposes to improve the products and services we provide.  Our website is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by visitors. Our site logs can generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our sites. This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff to provide better products and services to our shoppers.  While this information may be provided to others for purposes such as website optimizations, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.

Although the information-obtaining portions of our website are contained within the SSL-protected checkout process, please remember that any information you may disclose in any of the public (non-secure, no SSL/https) areas of our website or the internet in general becomes public information. Please exercise caution when deciding to disclose personal information in these public areas.

WeddingFavorFORTE' CHILDREN'S POLICY COMMITMENT 

Protecting children’s privacy is especially important to us. It is our policy to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 and all other applicable laws.  In this pursuit, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
